PLANETE CHIC Fashion Week Fall 2013

Planete Chic was jazzy affair that took you back in time with a retrospective view of fashion put into modern life. Taking place during New York Fashion Week, MYLifeStyle Magazine was a media sponsor for this magnificently well put coalition of fashion. The show featured three designers, Ola Hawatmeh, Yana Benhuri (YB), and John Paul Ataker. OLA Couture and YB Couture, both New York based designers, presented their Fall 2013 lines. John Paul Ataker presented the Winter 2013/Spring 2014 line collection. All designers were able to blend into one another through their romantic and intriguing designs, all reaching a high level of sophistication and allure. All represented glam and endearment. The live music performed through out the show gave a vivacious feel of snazziness to each design as it was showcased amongst the audience.

New York Mercedes-Benz 2013 FALL Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week isn't an experience all photographers and media outlets have been able to make their way to. Luckily, MYLifeStyle Magazine and En La Escena TV made their way, once again, to this season of New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for Fall 2013. Taking place between February 7th-February 14th, I attended 22 of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Shows and gained more knowledge of both Fashion and Photography. The immaculate designs that I saw were candy to my eye and opening to my mind. Each designer laid their work of art on a body canvas that strutted the runway with pure elegance and/or edge. The fabrics of leather, lace, silk, satin, wool and velvet reflected the designers feel of persona and style. The color and fabric combinations were aspiring to an inner feel of the souls balance and contrast. After all, what you wear reflects who you are. Fall 2013 has many options of self imagery coming, from classical formal wear to a raw and sleek definition of ones self.
